My husband and I are usually homebodies on football game days. We love to hear the back stories about the players and coaches, and we love to listen to the commentators during the game. Besides, we like to be home with our two weenie dogs, Wilson and Elle Belle. Our pups are great little companions and don’t talk *much* during the game. So, – back to the snack – just like we run to the store for bread and milk before the snow storm, we make a run to pick up groceries to make snack food for the big game. Here are 8 ideas for snacks that won’t interfere with your waistline.

1. Keto Guac and Veggies Kick off with a classic – guacamole! Whip up a keto-friendly version using ripe avocados, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber slices. It’s a touchdown for your taste buds! I never met an avocado I didn’t like. And it’s quick and easy! And I have to admit that the best guac I have had was made from these packets of guacamole mix. They are my go-to, every single time.
2. Crispy Zucchini Fries Lightly breaded and oven-baked, zucchini fries will have your guests cheering. Roll the sliced zucchini in seasoned almond flour, and back – and you have yourself a delicious treat.
3. Baked Buffalo Cauliflower Bites Spice things up with a buffalo twist on cauliflower. Drizzle olive oil over cauliflower florets then sprinkle them with salt, pepper and garlic powder.  Bake the bites in the oven until crispy and then coated in tangy buffalo sauce.

My husband likes to add a touch of cream cheese before wrapping the peppers in bacon. They are delicious and such a special treat!
